2077 Overview of Mass Metrology Principles for AFRIMETS

This 2-hour webinar will provide a basic overview of mass metrology principles for the participants within the AFRIMETS. It is part of NIST outreach and support initiatives to the Regional Metrology Organizations (RMOs).

At the end of the webinar, the participant will be able to:

  • IDENTIFY mass artifacts and use appropriate procedures to ensure good quality, accurate, and traceable mass measurements;
  • EXPLAIN key concepts relevant for mass calibrations.
  • IMPLEMENT and GAIN the basics of mass calibration procedures.

There is no registration fee for this webinar.

The webinar will be a live stream, so participants must have a constant connection during the webinar (a hard-wired connection is highly recommended and not a wireless connection).
