2024 George A. Uriano Award

The group is recognized for developing a business accelerator for communication innovation technologies, with a specific focus on enhancing the capabilities of public safety (PS) communications to improve their ability to serve. Key technology areas emphasized in the PULSE Accelerator included location-based services, data analytics, user interfaces, cybersecurity, and uncrewed aviation systems. Participating companies received over 50 hours of strategic consulting and market research to help validate existing target markets, expand understanding, and uncover new opportunities at no cost to them. The group successfully launched this business accelerator which has helped 35 emerging companies accelerate growth and development that supports the PS sector.
