AWARD CITATION
Ms. Griffin-Ferris is recognized for outstanding administrative support to the Quantum Measurement Division (QMD) during a time of extreme staffing shortages throughout the entire COVID-19 pandemic. During an unprecedented period of telework, Ms. Griffin-Ferris provided mission-critical support not only for her group, but the whole division, interacting with many entities internal and external to NIST to make sure QMD had the logistical resources to continue its national and international core-mission activities. Ms. Griffin-Ferris worked diligently with division leadership in recruiting and training new staff members to bring QMD administrative support back toward full strength.
