AWARD CITATION
Dr. Orji is recognized for leadership on the IEEE International Roadmap for Devices and Systems and for strengthening cooperation with the semiconductor industry. As chair of the IRDS Metrology Focus Team, he led the identification of emerging measurement challenges in devices and system integration for the semiconductor and computing industries. The report of the Metrology Focus Team is actively used by policy makers, funding agencies, and industry to guide decision making. This is the single key document used worldwide to assess the future measurement needs of these industries. Dr. Orji also led in addressing these emerging measurement needs within NIST and in working with other government agencies.
