2022 Diversity, Inclusivity and Equal Employment Opportunity Award

The group is recognized for being a catalyst for DEI within EL and across NIST through their efforts to establish and lead the council to enhance and improve EL’s culture and to foster a sense of belonging and inclusion among all staff.  The group established the mission and vision for diversity, equity, and inclusivity within EL and led by example through many activities.  As a first-of-a-kind group, the founding members of the council helped EL shape its goals, direction, and thinking regarding DEI and contributed to an inclusive working environment at NIST.
