Participants in the IBSS Cybersecurity Apprenticeship Program will learn a variety of cybersecurity skills that they can apply in the private sector and to support local, state, and federal government cybersecurity initiatives. The apprenticeship program is a combination classroom instruction and on-the-job training. The apprenticeship program is based on the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Cybersecurity Framework and its five (5) core functions: Identify, Protect, Detect, Respond, and Recover.
