Rodney Petersen, the Director of the National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education (NICE), participated as a witness during the House Science Subcommittee on Research and Technology hearing on “More Hires, Fewer Hacks: Developing the U.S. Cybersecurity Workforce”. Rodney shared information on NIST’s efforts to energize and promote a robust network and an ecosystem of cybersecurity education, training, and workforce development through the NICE program. Other topics were also highlighted such as the Regional Alliances and Multistakeholder Partnerships to Stimulate (RAMPS) Cybersecurity education and workforce development, CyberSeek, and the NICE Working Group.
