On Tuesday, June 20, 2017, Clarence Williams, the National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education (NICE) Lead for Government Engagement, participated in the Information Assurance Symposium in Baltimore, MD. Clarence led a session with speakers from the Department of Transportation, Department of Homeland Security, and Health and Human Services on "Building the Federal Cybersecurity Workforce through Role-Based Training". This session discussed the federal government's approach to role-based training to ensure that employees are properly trained and given the skills needed to protect their organization from threats.
