The NIST Center for Nanoscale Science and Technology) (CNST) is pleased to announce the release of the Fall 2016 edition of The CNST News. This quarterly newsletter highlights recent accomplishments of the Center and its research participants. Among the articles in this issue: a report on the fabrication of an infrared filter that will help NASA study the mysteries of starbirth and a study confirming that a noninvasive technique can examine the arrangement of carbon nanotubes in a polymer nanocomposite without interrupting the manufacturing process.
