NIST MEP will host the Fall Update Meeting in Detroit, MI on September 14, 2016. In addition, to the Update Meeting, MEP will be holding its Advisory Board meeting on September 15, 2016, which is open to the public at no additional cost.
The Update Meeting is for center management and staff to gain a better understanding of activities occurring across the system, changes in manufacturing, and how best to position the network to provide these services going forward. It is important to grow the capacity and skill set of the MEP system in order to meet the demand for services and the changing needs of the manufacturers in responding to expanding global competition. These meetings provide participants an opportunity to collaborate, share best practices, and learn about the latest tools, topics, and goals of the MEP system.
The Detroit, MI meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 14 beginning at 7:30 a.m. and concluding by 5:00 p.m. The MEP Advisory Board meeting will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2016 beginning at 8:00 a.m. and concluding by 3:30 p.m. The Update Meeting and Board Meeting are open to all Center staff. The intent of them is to provide an opportunity for all levels of the organization to gain a better understanding of the activities occurring within the MEP system.
