American National Standards Institute (ANSI) is hosting two separate brainstorming sessions in July 2024 to explore challenges and opportunities related to critical and emerging technologies (CET).
The first event, Enabling Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Through Public-Private Partnerships, will take place on July 17, 2024, from 9:00 AM ET to 5:00 PM ET in Arlington, Virginia. Remote participation will be offered. Registration is required.
This session will focus on specific challenges related to artificial intelligence (AI)/machine learning (ML) and explore the use of public-private partnerships (PPPs) in implementing the U.S. Government National Standards Strategy for Critical and Emerging Technology (USG NSSCET).
- The second event, Enabling Automated and Connected Infrastructure Through Public-Private Partnerships, will take place on July 30, 2024, from 9:00 AM ET to 5:00 PM ET in Dearborn, Michigan. Remote participation will be offered. Registration is required.
- This session will focus on specific opportunities and challenges related to automated and connected infrastructure and explore using public-private partnerships (PPPs) to share information and identify priority standards development activities.
ANSI’s efforts are backed by a grant from the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) to support the implementation of the USG NSSCET.
