Synopsis:

The National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education (NICE) Strategic Plan seeks to “encourage and enable ongoing development and training of employees, including rotational and exchange programs, to foster and keep current talent with diverse skills and experiences”.  There have been several legislative proposals, executive orders, and policy directions that seek to support the use of rotational programs for cybersecurity employees across the federal government.  Additionally, there is growing interest in facilitating the exchange of cybersecurity workers between the public and private sectors.  While retention of talent remains an ongoing interest of employers, a variety of factors are contributing to employees moving more frequently among and between employers than they have in the past.  This webinar will explore some of the challenges and opportunities for facilitating a more mobile cybersecurity workforce to ensure that employee skills are being continuously developed and employer needs are being addressed to minimize cybersecurity risks for their organization.
