The Federal Labs Consortium (FLC) of the Mid-Atlantic region will be hosting a two-day conference focused on “Building Bridges and Infrastructure to Support Federal Technology Transfer (T2),” from November 5-6 at the Universities at Shady Grove in Gaithersburg, Maryland.
This two-day event will allow for subject matter experts within industry, academia and government to discuss enhancing communicative pathways to create a better flow of technology from the lab to the market. Such topics will include:
- How can state and local governments interact with both resident Federal labs and private firms to support and enable an economic environment favorable to T2?
- Can a common language for T2 activities be developed for use across relevant professional and organizational boundaries?
- Education of managers and technical professionals about T2 as a private sector asset.
