Governor Hogan invites you to join him and Maryland Senators Ben Cardin and Chris Van Hollen with thought leaders from across the State to share ideas, best practices and strategies to improve the transfer of innovative technologies from universities and federal research institutions in the State of Maryland. This Summit, organized by the Maryland Department of Commerce and hosted by the National Institute of Standards and Technology, is designed specifically to put policy makers, industry leaders, innovators, early-stage, small and medium enterprises, and technology managers from leading universities and research institutes together with biotechnology and pharmaceutical licensing and business development executives, venture capitalists, and serial entrepreneurs for interactive sessions. These sessions will discuss partnering, licensing, business development and commercialization opportunities for industry, working with State programs, nonprofit organizations, public and private institutions of higher education, and federal organizations.
