John Lomax Receives Crittenden Award

Mr. John Lomax is recognized for outstanding service to both NIST and NIST customers above and beyond his normal job duties.  Since December 2005, Mr. Lomax has served as the first point of contact for customers of NIST Laser Measurement Services as the Quantum Electronics and Photonics Division's Measurement Services Coordinator. Under Mr. Lomax' diligent stewardship, the turnaround time for measurement services has significantly improved from 32 days in FY06 to 18 days in FY10. Many calibration customers have commented on Mr. Lomax's superior service - from accurate proforma invoices to the careful handling of customers' delicate equipment.
