AISIC Member Perspectives

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has established the Artificial Intelligence Safety Institute Consortium (AISIC) to bring together AI creators and users, academic, government and industry researchers, and civil society organizations to support the development and deployment of trustworthy and safe, secure, and trustworthy AI.

"The California Department of Technology Office of Information Security and the California Cybersecurity Integration Center are looking forward to participating in the AI Safety Institute Consortium. California agencies actively involved developing guidelines for analyzing the safety and security impacts of adopting generative AI (GenAI) implementations so serve Californian communities, including criteria to evaluate equitable outcomes in deployment and implementation of safe and ethical high-risk use cases.
