NIST on a Chip Technology
The NOAC program will develop highly accurate quantum-based standards and sensors – often miniaturized to chip scale or smaller – that are traceable to the International System of Units (SI). They will be available wherever customers need them, and they will be manufacturable, scalable in production cost according to application, and reliable, providing either the exact value of a measurement or no value at all.
