Award Winner: Vinod Tewary
The primary goal of International Conference on Computational & Experimental Engineering and Sciences (ICCES) is to foster interactions between engineering, life sciences, and the physical sciences and to promote fast-paced developments that cross these disciplines. Each year, ICCES brings together 500 of the world's most respected researchers in areas ranging from nanoscience to sustainability. The next ICCES meeting will be held in May 2013 in Seattle, WA. Dr. Tewary will be recognized at their annual banquet and will present an award lecture on his research at that time. A special symposium will also be organized in his honor.
This Medal is awarded to an individual , from anywhere in the world, for sustained and significant contributions in the form of research, teaching, and service to the community, in any area germane to the ICCES series of conferences. The sum total of contributions over a career spanning many years is taken in to account. The conferral of this award is considered as the scientific accolade expressed on behalf of the ICCES community, for the recipient's seminal role in the development of subject matter relevant to ICCES.
