Abstract

NIST Handbook 150-11, NVLAP Electromagnetic Compatibility and Telecommunications, presents the technical requirements and guidance for the accreditation of laboratories under the NVLAP Electromagnetic Compatibility and Telecommunications (ECT) LAP. It is intended for information and use by accredited laboratories, laboratories seeking accreditation, laboratory accreditation systems, users of laboratory services, and others needing information on the requirements for accreditation under this program. The 2012 edition includes updated references to applicable national and international standards and identifies the minimum level and frequency of participation of proficiency testing activity required, as well as the review of the participation and performance during the assessment and accreditation decision process. The handbook was revised with the participation of technical experts in the field of electromagnetic compatibility and telecommunications testing and revisions were approved by NVLAP. The 2012 edition supersedes and replaces the 2007 edition.
