Abstract

We describe an architecture to validate new tools in support of interoperability provisioning processes that take place within industrial communities. We start from a best-practices standards development process where an industry community develops interoperability specifications that are used by vendors to make their software applications compliant to the community?s requirements. We show how these standards-based interoperability provisioning processes may be enhanced using the new tools. We describe potential impact of these tools and discuss how that impact may be validated within the proposed architecture. We conclude by discussing the business value of the validation analyses discussed in this paper.
