Abstract

A method of fabricating and measuring simple part shapes to evaluate the performance of Rapid Prototyping (RP) systems is proposed in this report. These test shapes would include cylinders, rectangular bricks, cones, and other basic shapes. We propose a methodology that could form the basis for future RP system performance evaluation standards.
