| Title: | Electromagnetic Fields in Cavities: Deterministic and Statistical Theories |
| Published: | September 21, 2009 |
| Abstract: | This book covers both deterministic and statistical theories of electromagnetic fields in cavities. Deterministic theory is based on resonant mode characteristics, such as quality factor, Q, and mode excitation via Dyadic Green s functions. Statistical theories are presented for electrically large cavities whose dimensions and shapes are not precisely known. These theories provide probability density functions for field quantities of interest and are applicable to reverberation chambers and shielding effectiveness of cavities with apertures. |
