| Title: | Portable X-Ray Systems for Use in Bomb Identification and Interdiction |
| Published: | December 01, 2007 |
| Abstract: | The NIJ Standard for Portable X-Ray Systems is a minimum performance standard as applied to the man-portable battery-powered x-ray systems for use by bomb technicians and investigators. These systems comprise the x-ray generator, the image acquisition device, and the computer control and display subsystems. The standard includes requirements for imaging performance, safety, electromagnetic compatibility, environmental ranges and tolerance, mechanical robustness, quality, and human interfaces. |
