Ken Fivizzani

Dr. Fivizzani is Manager of Chemical Safety Programs at Ondeo Nalco Company. He is the Chemical Hygiene Officer for Ondeo Nalco and for Ondeo Nalco Energy Services. He received both B.S. and M.S. degrees in chemistry from Loyola University of Chicago and a Ph.D. in inorganic chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Dr. Fivizzani also serves as a member of the American Chemical Society (ACS), the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA), the Industrial Research Institute's (IRI) Environmental Health and Safety Directors' Network, and Sigma Xi.

Dr. Fivizzani is a past Chair (2002-2004) and a current member of the ACS Committee on Chemical Safety (CCS). For 1999-2001, he served as Chair of the IRI Environmental Health and Safety Directors' Network. Dr. Fivizzani is certified as a Chemical Hygiene Officer by the National Registry of Certified Chemists. He serves on the Board of Editors of The Journal of Chemical Health & Safety and writes columns for The Last Word in that journal. His current activity involves laboratory safety and safe use of chemicals in industrial applications.
