Tyler Boyle ()

Research Meteorologist

Tyler Boyle is a research meteorologist with the NIST Greenhouse Gas Measurements program. His technical research primarily focuses on the low-cost sensors project, with the goal of developing a scalable IoT (Internet of Things) greenhouse gas monitoring network to support measurement capabilities in the Northeast Corridor Urban Testbed. These stations feature custom hardware and software to interface with off-the-shelf greenhouse gas sensors. He is actively exploring various data correction techniques and calibration methods to best reduce atmospheric and temporal dependencies from sensor measurements.

Other projects that Tyler is involved with are the DCFlux HALO LiDAR and the NIST MiniMPL.
