PSCR: Maxwell Maurice highlights work on deployable broadband platform
Maxwell Maurice, electronics support technician for the Public Safety Communications Research (PSCR) group within the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), showcases the rapidly deployable research platform, which is designed to make first responders “completely independent and completely self-contained” in terms of communicating while in areas without normal network connectivity. Maurice spoke with IWCE’s Urgent Communications Editor Donny Jackson during the recent Winter Institute event hosted by the Texas A&M University Internet2 Technology Evaluation Center (ITEC).
