In July 2016 at the 101st National Conference on Weights and Measures (NCWM) Annual Meeting the following text was amended and adopted into NIST Handbook 130, Engine Fuels and Automotive Lubricants Regulation. The amended language was for the vapor pressure exceptions in subsections 2.1.2. Gasoline-Ethanol Blends will remain in effect until May 1, 2017, or until ASTM incorporates changes to the vapor pressure maximums for ethanol blends, whichever occurs earlier. (Effective July 28, 2016). Please contact a member of the NIST OWM, Laws & Metric staff at (301) 975-4004 for additional information or assistance.
