Standards Alumni Association Volunteer Opportunities

The SAA exists only through the work of members who volunteer their time and assistance. For many activities there is either no back-up or too few contributors, resulting in a serious burden for those who do contribute. Please help to ensure a viable SAA by becoming a member of a committee. Assistance is particularly needed in these areas:

• SAA Office Operations;
• The SAA Newsletter, especially submitting material in the areas of obituaries and NIST staff recognition;
• Information Technology, helping to apply IT to support of SAA activities and committees;
• Collecting biographical/historical material about former NBS/NIST staff;
• Other SAA Committee work, e.g., Portrait Gallery, Membership, Program, Social
