Students are required to create an USAJOBS Profile to apply to the SURF Program.
**SURF Boulder and SURF Gaithersburg receive and process applications separately. Electronic applications for both campuses must be received by NIST no later than 11:59 p.m.
SURF Gaithersburg Program Dates
- The 11-week program is anticipated to start on
May 24, 2021 to August 6, 2021. - The 9-week program (limited slots) is anticipated to start on
June 7, 2021 and conclude on August 6, 2021. - The SURF Colloquium (which all fellows are required to attend and deliver an oral presentation) is scheduled
August 2-6, 2021.
***SURF Boulder and SURF Gaithersburg have different program dates.
