Students are required to create an USAJOBS Profile to apply to the SURF Program. 

**SURF Boulder and SURF Gaithersburg receive and process applications separately.  Electronic applications for both campuses must be received by NIST no later than 11:59 p.m.

 

SURF Gaithersburg Program Dates 

  • The 11-week  program is anticipated to start on May 26, 2020 and conclude on August 7, 2020.  
  • The 9-week program (limited slots) is anticipated to start on June 8, 2020 and conclude on August 7, 2020.  
  • The SURF Colloquium (which all fellows are required to attend and deliver an oral presentation) is scheduled August 3-7, 2019.

***SURF Boulder and SURF Gaithersburg have different program dates.
