Observation of Excited States in Ozone Near the Dissociation Limit

September 22, 1975
Author(s)
Nils Swanson, Robert Celotta
Several calculations suggest that the lowest triplet states of ozone lie near the dissociation limit. Using electron energy-loss spectroscopy, we have observed a broad feature beginning at 1.3 eV, with a maximum at 1.65-eV energy loss. This structure is

Electron Scattering from NO and N 2 O Below 10 eV

December 1, 1974
Author(s)
A Zecca, I Lazzizzera, Morris Krauss, C Kuyatt
Total electron scattering cross sections for NO and N 2O in the energy range 0-10 eV were obtained from exponential attenuation in a straight-line collision chamber without a confining magnetic field. Good agreement is obtained with previous measurements
