William Feeney started within the Surface and Trace Chemical Analysis Group in December 2021. His research focuses on mass spectrometry systems for forensic science and other applications. William has extensive knowledge in traditional mass spectrometry systems (GC-MS, LC-MS/MS), computational modeling (density functional theory), machine learning algorithms, and multivariate statistics. William's current research efforts are focused on researching trends in illicit substances and measuring unique drug responses.
