Jozsef Imrek is a research associate in the NIST Quantum Sensors Group, developing FPGA based readout systems for microwave SQUID multiplexing (a frequency division multiplexing scheme). His long time research interest is scalable and distributed data acquisition systems for physics applications based on FPGAs, Ethernet networking, and embedded Linux. Previously he worked as physicist, embedded software developer, FPGA developer, and consultant, both in industry and in academia.
