Erin Leigh Wood is a guest researcher in the Physical Measurement Laboratory at the National Institute of Standards and Technology. She is working in the Nanoscale Spectroscopy Group. Her research interests include 2-D nanowire networks and scanning probe metrology. Currently she is working on developing synthetic techniques to produce self-organized coinage metal nanowire networks with optimized mechanical strength. She also is pursuing standardization in tip enhanced Raman spectroscopy (TERS) methodology.
