The Voluntary Leave Transfer Program allows Federal employees to donate their annual leave to assist other Federal employees who have personal or family medical emergencies and who have exhausted their own leave.
Information for Leave Donors:
The purpose of this page is to improve the efficiency of the Voluntary Leave Transfer Program and not to serve as an advertisement to solicit leave for employees. To receive an up-to-date listing of NIST employees approved as leave recipients, please contact the servicing Office of Human Resources Management pay technician. To donate leave to participating recipients, donors must complete OPM Form 630-A and provide the name of your timekeeper and his/her phone and fax numbers.
If you are an employee of NIST or the National Technical Information Service, and wish to donate leave to a Federal employee employed by an agency other than Department of Commerce, you must complete OPM Form 630-B, and provide the name of your timekeeper and his/her phone and fax numbers, as well as the Human Resources contact person and phone number at the recipient's agency.
