The NIST high-pressure multi-pass White absorption cell has been modified for use in high temperature studies. The temperature range of this cell is now -90o C to +90oC. Collision-induced absorption (CIA) of O2 and N2 has now been studied at temperatures up to 90o C. The CIA band intensity of O2 has been found to come to a minimum around 270 K and very surprisingly increases as the temperature is raised. In the case of N2 gas, the band intensity has a much smaller temperature dependence.
