Abstract

We evaluate the nonlinear distortion in a software-defined radio front end consisting of a low-noise amplifier followed by an analog-to-digital converter. We then develop a behavioral model that captures the key elements of the nonlinear distortion. We provide comparisons between measured and simulated results under multisine and WiMax excitations.
