This standard practice is intended to aid in the calibration and qualification of fluorescence spectrometers as part of complying with regulatory and other QA/QC requirements. It specifies the materials and procedures used in three different methods for the correction of the relative responsivity of the instrument's detection system as a function of wavelength, also known as relative spectral correction. ASTM Luminescence subcommittee E13.01.01 intends to use this document as a template for a similar ASTM guide.
