Pety et al. (2012) recently reported the detection and assignment of l-C3H+ in the Horsehead nebula. Here, we expand that analysis to include the J = 1 - 0 and J = 2 - 1 transitions of l-C3H+ observed in absorption towards Sgr B2(N) in data from the publicly available PRIMOS survey. Also presented here are observations of the J = 6 - 5 and J = 7 - 6 transitions in emission towards Sgr B2(N) and Sgr B2(OH)using the Barry E. Turner Legacy Survey. We calculate an excitation temperature and column density of l-C3H+ of 10.1 K and 1.7 x 10**13 cm**-2 in Sgr B2(N) and 79.3 K and 1.5 x 10**13 cm**-2 in Sgr B2(OH). We discuss the implications of these results and highlight the utility of publicly available line surveys in community-driven analyses.
