The available information for the thermal-conductivity enhancement is reviewed. We show that it can be represented by a simplified solution of the mode-coupling theory of critical dynamics with two critical amplitudes and one cutoff wave number as fluid-specific parameters. Using corresponding states we correlate these fluid specific parameters in terms of their dependence on the acentric factor. We are thus able to present a universal representation of the critical enhancement of the thermal conductivity for a large number of molecular fluids.
