Taco Comfort Solutions Engages with Polaris MEP on their ISO 9001:2015

Taco Comfort Solutions is approaching its 100th anniversary. From a RI pump company to a global brand based in the U.S., Taco has production, sales and distribution operations around the world – in Europe, the Middle East and in Asia.  The company’s vision is to promote success for their family of employees, customers, partners, and communities globally by being the easiest company to do business with while providing innovative and dependable HVAC, plumbing, and industrial solutions.

Taco Comfort Solutions plans to branch out into new industries for our heating-cooling-plumbing products and also into brand new products outside of their core area of hydronics. They are the solutions provider and will grow their business from that platform.

The company needed to transition from ISO 9001-2008 to ISO 9001:2015 in order to comply with the standard.

Polaris MEP was an “extra set of eyes” for the highly qualified internal team of ISO drivers. Polaris MEP’s Project Manager helped lead, train, coordinate and facilitate the preparation for ISO 9001:2015 registration with management and non-management personnel. Polaris MEP and the company jointly developed measures and outcomes from the initiatives, and communicated progress communicated on a frequent, formal and regular basis.
