Mantec Services is located in Seattle, Washington. They have 9 employees. Mantec supplies custom molded and fabricated foam and provides contract manufacturing services.
The Challenge
Mantec Services needed to upgrade their management system from ISO 9001:2008 to ISO 9001:2015. At the same time, there was a sense that their current system was too cumbersome for their needs and there was a large chance they were not going to be successful. They reached out to Impact Washington, part of the MEP National Network™, after learning about us from our website.
Impact Washington helped us re-engineer our management system in a short amount of time so that it is now more effective and Lean. Since we are not a large company, this was key to sustaining our system.
MEP's Role
Impact Washington assessed their current system and found it was indeed a system that had been designed from a much larger company. Impact Washington applied Lean concepts and downsized the system allowing the company to be successful in maintaining their certification. Sarah Stuart from Impact Washington analyzed the system and helped to apply Lean concepts to create a right sized system for the company.
