Purpose

  Verify that a host properly processes suspicious Redirect messages when redirected on-link.

Test Setup

  Common Setup 1.1 is performed at the beginning of each test part. The Common Test
  Cleanup Procedure is performed after each part.

Procedure

  Part C: Target Address not Covered by On-link Prefix
   7. Repeat Steps 1 through 5 from Part A. In Step 3, the Redirect message contains a Target Address
      of a global address of TN1 that is not covered by an on-link prefix.

Observable Results

  Parts A-C
   In all Parts, the HUT should respond to the first Echo Request using TR1 as a first hop. The
   HUT should respond to the second Echo Request directly on-link to TN1, indicating the HUT
   processed the Redirect message.
