*Registration closes on deadline date or when class is full.

How to Register

Step One: Submit Information

To register, email the following information.
Individual: provide attendee information
Group: provide information for each attendee

  1. Attendee Full Name
    (exactly as it appears on a government issued ID*)
  2. Organization Name
  3. Email Address
  4. Training Week Preference
    (Include your week preferences: first, second, and third–if applicable)
    • April 21–24 
    • April 28–May 1 
    • May 5–8 (Course Full) 
  5. Email information to: examinerlogistics@nist.gov

*NIST security policy requires attendees official name exactly as it appears on a government issued ID. 

Step Two: Submit Payment

After submitting your information via email you will receive an email confirmation with instructions to submit your payment. We encourage you to remit your payment as soon as possible to secure your seat.

Payment is due with all registrations. Payments must be made in U.S. currency. Payment options include Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or check. Note: ASQ/American Society for Quality-E-Commerce will be shown on the credit card statement. Checks must be drawn on a U.S. financial institution and made payable to Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award. 

Step Three: Training Registration Confirmation

Once your payment is processed, you will receive an email from our office officially confirming your training week dates. In late March, you will receive an email with your prework instructions and the prework package will be shipped via UPS (domestic attendees) and emailed (international attendees). Your enrollment is not confirmed until you receive the email from our office.

Training Week Selection

Seats are guaranteed on a first-come, first-served basis. Please make sure to rank your week selection according to preference. We will do our best to fulfill your training week preference. However, securing a seat in the course guarantees you a seat in one of the training weeks, not necessarily your first choice. Once your payment is processed, you will receive an email from our office officially confirming your training week dates.

Class Requirements

  • Must complete the 30 – 40 hour prework activity
  • Must bring one hardcopy of the prework to class
  • Must attend the 3.5 days of training to receive a certificate of completion

Prework
Prior to attending the training, each participant is required to complete a 30-40 hour prework activity using a fictitious Baldrige award application. Your prework will be shared with others in the class. In class, participants work in groups at tables, sharing the results of their prework and discussing their findings with other training participants

Hotel and Training Logistics

Logistics information which will include hotel information, daily training agenda, and additional training information will be provided to all registrants starting in mid-March 2020.

Cancellation Policy

You may cancel six (6) or more business days prior to the start of class for a refund minus a $300 processing fee. No refunds five (5) or fewer business days before class begins.
