Prasad Gupte serves as a Chemical Engineer in the Project Management Office. His areas of focus are in renewable energy systems, sustainable manufacturing, and advanced chemical separations. He joined the Technology Innovation Program from the NIST Advanced Technology Program, where he worked in the Economic Assessment Office conducting research on the commercialization of early state, high-risk R&D projects. Prior to joining NIST, Prasad worked as a research engineer at the Dow Chemical Company, a manufacturing engineer at Merck and Company, and a consultant at Accenture. He studied Chemical Engineering at The Ohio State University and Technology Policy at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
