Carlos Grinspon is an Electronics Engineer/Project Manager for the NIST Technology Innovation Program (TIP), Selection Management Office. His technical areas of interest include display and imaging technologies, with special interest in infrared technologies, MEMs, and sensors. As a member of the Selection Management Office, his responsibilities include selection analysis, technical project management, and impact analysis.

Carlos joined NIST in 1994 where he was a Program Manager at the Advanced Technology Program (ATP) for 13+ years, where he managed projects in the areas of electronics and photonics, as well as participated in the ATP competition evaluation process. He then moved to TIP in 2008.

Prior to joining NIST, Carlos worked at several large electronics companies as a development electronics engineer, designing circuits for many different technologies and as an independent technical consultant to the electronics industry. Carlos holds degrees in Electrical Engineering (B.S.) and an MBA.
