Design and Characterization of Polymer Brush Gradients
Chang Xu
Surface grafted polymer brushes provide versatile methods to tailor surface properties. Numerous factors, such as molecular weight, grafting density, composition, block length, affect the behaviors the (co)polymer brushes. In this work, we discuss methods developed to fabricate gradient libraries of polymer brushes with controlled properties. These libraries provide high-throughput pathways to elucidate how various factors influence the properties of polymer brushes.
