Working with NIST |
Division Contact: Bruce E. Mattson
NIST provides guidance on how to participate in or work with its R&D efforts. A variety of formal arrangements are available by which researchers may work with NIST technical staff and/or use NIST research facilities. These include Domestic and Foreign Guest Researcher agreements, Facility User agreements, Cooperative Research and Development Agreements (CRADAs), and consortia. Sample forms are provided. Guidance also is available to help identify NIST patents or technologies available for licensing, licensing policies and procedures, and exchange of information with NIST. NIST also encourages small business participation in its Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Program.
