Laboratories are located at the foot of Colorado's Front Range, where
the Rocky Mountains rise from the Great Plains. About 500 NIST scientists,
engineers and support personnel work at this location, which includes
an 84-hectare campus. The building shown here is the U.S. Department
of Commerce Laboratory. It houses NIST, the Environmental
Research Laboratories of the National
Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, the National
Telecommunications and Information Administration, and the Mountain
Administrative Support Center. |
