lecturers will teach fundamentals in time and frequency metrology
and provide a forum for your questions and problems involving time
and frequency applications. |

topics for 2008 include – Lectures on low noise optical oscillators;
oscillator and amplifier arrays; PM-noise reduction techniques;
chip-scale atomic sensors; improvements and alternatives to GPS;
and low-noise frequency synthesis using femtosecond-comb lasers. |

at the NIST Laboratories, lobby area.
Course registration fee: $1700
